River Center Branch Library

The new 48,316-square-foot River Center Branch Library overlooks North Boulevard Town Square in downtown Baton Rouge. The four-story structure has dedicated spaces for children, teens and adults. (Tim Mueller)
The first-floor welcome area has a large mural of a map published in 1944 by the Army Corp of Engineers of the Mississippi River as it passes Baton Rouge. The welcome area also includes a laptop bar and public computers. (Tim Mueller)
