A new stretch of North Harrell’s Ferry Road opens this week, the third Green Light Plan construction project to be completed. The $1.81 million project replaced a two-lane, open ditch road with a two-lane curb and gutter road with a continuous center turn lane from Old Hammond Highway to Sherwood Forest Boulevard. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
