An Arkansas-based property investment firm has purchased land along Perkins Road for roughly $4.97 million this week.
Nephron Properties LLC purchased the property at 8200 Perkins Road in a cash sale from 3B Development LLC out of Gretna, according to paperwork filed Jan. 22.
The property is currently occupied by PetSuites of America, which has a 20-year corporate lease that began last year, leasing agent Michael Pou says.
The property is roughly 2.1 acres and is just south of the intersection of Essen Lane and Perkins Road near Panache Plaza and Southside Produce.
PetSuites of America is a national franchise operating in six states. The company opened its second Louisiana location, the 14,000-square-foot animal day care and grooming facility on Perkins Road, in April after months of construction delays.
