Louisiana ranks near the bottom nationally for disability employment

Louisiana ranks 50th in the nation for employment among people with disabilities with just 38.7% currently working, according to a recent analysis of federal disability data. Only West Virginia posted a lower employment rate at 36.4%. Alabama, Kentucky and Mississippi ranked just ahead of Louisiana at 38.8%, 40% and 40.6%, respectively. The ranking was compiled
