The LSU Burden Museum and Gardens is one of Baton Rouge’s most treasured natural attractions. Located in the heart of the city, off Essen Lane near Interstate 10, the lush property covers some 440 acres of specialty gardens, woodlands, walking trails and wetlands, the latter of which serve as a natural watershed for the area.
