Highland Development, represented by Randy Gomez, is on the way to starting construction of a 27-lot subdivision on the south side of Highland Road between Siegen Lane and Bluebonnet Boulevard. Highland Development has been working on the Estates at Turtle Creek for several months. The project was delayed after the Corps of Engineers discovered potential Indian remains on the site. The development had to be redesigned not to disturb the artifacts. The 27-lot subdivision will have a lake and gated access. According to Gomez, 16 of 27 proposed lots have been pre-sold. The lots are available for sale from $219,00 to $340,000. Construction on the development should start sometime this spring.
