Chris Stelly has been named interim director of Louisiana Entertainment. He replaces Sherri McConnell, who resigned today as head of the entertainment industry development office. McConnell announced earlier this year she was stepping down from the job she had held since 2007. Stelly has been head of the state’s film and TV development efforts for the past four years. Over that period, Louisiana became a major draw for movie productions, with high-profile, big-budget movies such as The Green Lantern and the final two Twilight movies filming in the state. Stelly was named as a Business Report Forty Under 40 winner in 2010. To read his profile, click here.
