The St. Tammany Development District has reelected Whitney Bank Senior Vice President Peter Link of Covington as its chairman. Whitney Bank Senior Vice President John Smith of Slidell was named vice chairman, and retired Hancock Bank Senior Vice President Dave Anderson is the organization’s treasurer. Other board members are Nixon Adams, Dawn Sharpe Brackett, Jean Champagne, Chad Collings, Irma Cry, Stella Helluin, Marty Mayer, Donna O’Daniels, Daniel Schaus, Bill Oiler and Brenda Reine-Bertus. The Development District oversees the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation, which to date has issued half a billion dollars in bonds to fund job creation and business expansion in the parish.
