Southern University Athletic Director Greg LaFleur has been arrested on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute and given a $500 bond, according to the Houston Police Department. A department spokesman said LaFleur was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Main Street. LaFleur, 52, was in Houston for the Final Four. Southern is searching for a men’s basketball coach to replace Rob Spivery, who was fired last week. Ed Pratt, Southern’s assistant to the chancellor for media relations, was not available to comment on LaFleur’s arrest. President Ronald Mason and Chancellor Kofi Lomotey told WAFB-TV they had no comment.
