The retail property at the corner of Jones Creek and George O’Neal roads, which includes the Grand Cinema and a 16,000-square-foot shopping center, sold for $2.4 million in a deal that closed last week. The buyer was M D Ruston Properties, which was represented by Shane Morrison. The sellers were The Myrtles of Shenandoah and CINFAB, both of which were represented by Evert L. Bennett. Neither the buyer nor the sellers could be reached for comment. Morrison owns the Grand, an eight-screen theater which has been upgraded with stadium-style seating. The shopping center is anchored by CVS Drugs, with Wonder Cuts and a dental office occupying other spaces. The retail center is about 30% vacant after the departure of Cold Stone Creamery and Café Americain. —Tom Cook
