Former Gov. Buddy Roemer is moving to the key primary state of New Hampshire to give his presidential bid a boost. The online magazine Politico says Roemer will move to New Hampshire in the lead up to the primary, which is expected to be held Feb. 14. “I am looking forward to meeting, and listening to, the great people of New Hampshire over the next few months,” Roemer says. Roemer is expected to formally announce his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. In recent months he’s made campaign trips to New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina; but so far Roemer has been unable to gain traction or break the 1% threshold in national polls.
