LSU football Coach Les Miles is set to meet with Michigan officials Tuesday to discuss the open head coaching job at the university, reports The Detroit Free Press. That meeting may happen in Dallas; Miles will be there to speak at the American Football Coaches Association convention and his agent, George Bass, is also based in the city. According to published reports, Michigan will give LSU 24 hours’ notice before the meeting with Miles; as of late Sunday night, school officials said they hadn’t heard of a meeting. Miles will attend an 11 a.m. press conference today in Baton Rouge. Patrick Peterson, the Tigers’ All-American cornerback, is widely expected to announce he will skip his senior year and go into the NFL Draft. Peterson is projected to be a high draft pick.
