Nearly two-thirds of Real Estate Weekly readers say the Baton Rouge housing market won’t start showing year-to-year increases in the number of houses sold until at least January 2010. Twenty-four percent of people who responded to an online survey say an increase won’t be seen for 10 months to a year, while the same percentage say it will be more than a year until the figures turn up. Twelve percent say it will be more than two years, while 6% say it will be more than three years. Twenty one percent say an increase will be seen in three to six months. More than 100 people participated in the survey.
