Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. says it wants to alter the timelines for proposed casinos in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles. Pinnacle executives are expected to ask the Louisiana Gaming Control Board today for a three-month delay for its proposed south Baton Rouge casino and for its Sugarcane Bay resort in Lake Charles. Construction started on Sugarcane Bay in August, and the company has been developing plans for its River Road casino since a local option vote passed a year ago. The company has said it intends to complete both projects, but considers the delay necessary because of troubles in the capital markets.
