Matt Parker, the former executive director of the Louisiana Republican Party who helped get Rick Scott elected governor of Florida, is back in Louisiana. Parker has returned to work for Gov. Bobby Jindal’s re-election campaign. He worked on Jindal’s successful gubernatorial run in 2007. Parker had been in line to become executive director of the Florida GOP, reports The St. Petersburg Times. He was credited with running a superior voter-contact operation, which pulled Scott to an upset win in the Republican primary and carried over to the general election.
