The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has recognized Our Lady of the Lake College for working with the local community. OLOL was one of 115 schools, including two in Louisiana, that received the community engagement classification. Loyola University of New Orleans was the other Louisiana school to get the honor. The classification recognizes a significant commitment to service learning.
