The owners of Servpro of East Baton Rouge Parish have purchased an office and warehouse at 9454 S. Choctaw Drive for $980,000, according to sales documents filed today.

Through JBWM Real Estate Holdings LLC, Jeffrey Betz and Wilbur McDaniel purchased the office from Herrick Capital Holdings LLC, whose authorized member is Janet Herrick. Bentz and McDaniel own the local Servpro franchise, of which there are more than 1,650 nationwide. The company offers cleaning and mold remediation services, as well as 24/7 emergency cleaning and restoration services in the event of a fire, floor or other emergency.

Neither Benz nor McDaniel could be reached by this afternoon’s deadline for comment on their plans for the office. Located between Monterrey and North Sherwood Forest boulevards, the office measures 25,955 square feet, according to a third party listing. It was renovated in 2003 and includes nearly 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, about 2,500 square feet of open showroom space and about 3,500 square feet of office space with 11 total offices. The space was formerly home to Southern Paper & Janitorial Supply, which moved to a new location off Industriplex Boulevard earlier this year.
