Construction is underway for an office and storage facility on Balis Drive, behind the College Drive WalMart.
The facility will comprise 28 office-storage suites, and will be similar to another office and storage facility located south of the development, just by the railroad tracks on Balis Drive, says Philip Robillard, vice president of J. Reed Constructors.
The property is being developed by Balis Drive LLC and its agent Jacob Richardson with JMR Commercial Real Estate, with Baton Rouge-based J. Reed Constructors constructing five pre-engineered metal buildings on the site.
Weather permitting, construction should wrap up in about 6 to 8 months, says Robillard.
