Louisiana Medical Mutual Insurance Co., better known as LAMMICO, says it will not be raising its overall rates in 2012 for policyholders who practice full-time. LAMMICO is the state’s largest medical malpractice insurer. The company is in the process of sending out policyholder renewal letters this week. LAMMICO’s rates have not risen since 2004, and rates were lowered in 2005, 2007 and 2009, a spokesman says. —David Jacobs
