Will provide content for publications: Charlie D’Agostino, head of the Louisiana Business & Technology Center at LSU, has been named to the National Business Incubation Association’s Advisory Board for Knowledge Services. The board is responsible for writing and producing content for the NBIA’s print and electronic publications. D’Agostino served six years on the NBIA board of directors. In April, he’s slated to speak at the NBIA international conference in San Jose, Calif.
Popular destination: New Orleans was ranked eighth in an Orbitz index of the most popular U.S. travel destinations. The index is based on the number of trip and hotel bookings made through Orbitz during 2010. The top three U.S. cities were unchanged for the third year in a row: Las Vegas, New York and Chicago.
