Good news for the class of ’11: The percentage of employees who plan to hire recent college graduates this year has slightly increased from 2010, according to a CareerBuilder jobs forecast. Forty-six percent of the businesses surveyed say they plan to hire recent college graduates, compared with 44% in 2010 and 43% in 2009. Of the businesses that plan to hire, 26% say they will offer higher starting salaries than in 2010, with 31% offering between $30,000 and $40,000. CareerBuilder based the report on a Harris Interactive survey of more than 2,800 hiring managers.
