Second location for spa: Bumble Lane Spa will open its second location Monday in the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. The spa is going into the space formerly occupied by Atelier Rouge, which closed in February. Bumble Lane will offer manicures, pedicures, massages, facials and makeup application. The spa will be open Monday through Saturday.
Teaming up: Close to 40 Saints players have gotten together to work out at practice fields and weight rooms at Tulane. Quarterback Drew Brees, who organized the player-only workouts, says that it’s all about doing what they can while they are locked out from their regular facilities during the NFL labor dispute. Several players who showed up are not currently under contract but were with the team last season and hope to return. Those include left tackle Jermon Bushrod, fullback Heath Evans and safeties Darren Sharper and Roman Harper.
