Setting the hook: Four BREC ponds are now stocked with rainbow trout from Ava, Mo. The ponds newly stocked are at Forest, Perkins Road, North Sherwood Forest and Zachary community parks. Rainbow trout are not native to Louisiana, and BREC says it stocks local ponds with them to “provide a fun and new fish for anglers.” There is a four-fish limit, and all anglers must have a valid fishing license. Complete details and park addresses are available here.
