Baton Rouge-based Cajun Constructors has announced its acquisition of Industrial Design & Construction, which is headquartered in Prairieville and has a regional office in Deer Park, Texas. A purchase price was not disclosed. Under the acquisition agreement, the current management team at IDC will remain in place, along with all field staff and craftsmen. IDC will operate in its existing markets as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cajun Constructors. “The combined strengths of the two companies will offer us additional opportunities to secure larger mechanical and turnkey construction projects,” says Cajun President Todd Grigsby.
