An eight-suite shopping center is going vertical at 8312 Florida Blvd. near the Florida Boulevard and Airline Highway interchange.

Developer Yaser Salameh is calling the new shopping center Milano Square. Salameh says he has tenants lined up for half of the shopping center’s spaces, including a Lebanese cafe, a Metro PCS, a Vivo’s clothing store and a men’s clothing store called Milano Uomo. Salameh says he’s looking for tenants to fill the available spaces.

The shopping center is one story and spans 15,120 square feet, according to building permits.

Salameh says construction on the shopping center began in March, and should be completed in the next six to eight months.
