An industry association has been formed to promote the film and entertainment business in Louisiana. Organizers of the Louisiana Industry for Film and Entertainment say the group will try to bring together all aspects of the film and entertainment industry. The group’s president, Patrick Mulhearn, says specialized services will be provided, including industry updates, legislative and regulatory monitoring and reporting, and a variety of networking and communication services. Mulhearn manages Celtic Media Centre in Baton Rouge. Other members include companies involved in the industry from Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Shreveport and New Orleans.
