Limousine Livery of New Orleans has purchased River Parish Limousines, which is based in Baton Rouge. Limousine Livery was founded by Christy and Aaron Dirks, the latter a Baton Rouge native and Woodlawn High graduate. He bought the business after Hurricane Katrina, concentrating on chauffeured transportation for companies. Dirks says he was serving as a mentor to Dustin Clouatre, the owner of River Parish Limousines. “He had an opportunity in his life to divest the business,” Dirks says, “and we were able to come to a really good deal for both of us.” Dirks adds that the move will improve the level of service offered to Baton Rouge customers. The deal gives Limousine Livery 100 employees total.
