LSU’s Louisiana Business & Technology Center has received another national honor for its “Incubator on Wheels,” an 18-wheeler with a mobile classroom. The LBTC earned the Incubator Innovation Award last week at a National Business Incubation Association conference in Kansas City, Mo. The mobile incubator has focused on business development in areas affected by hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Ike. This is the fourth award the national business incubator group has presented to the LBTC, including an Incubator of the Year award in 2005.
