Gov. Jeff Landry on Thursday signed an executive order establishing statewide standards intended to prevent the costs of data centers and other power-intensive developments from being shifted to Louisiana ratepayers. The order, called the Louisiana Ratepayer and Community Protection Initiative, directs state agencies to work with the Louisiana Public Service Commission to evaluate qualifying projects
