Chevron’s expanded renewable diesel refinery in Geismar has ramped up production while increasing its economic footprint in Ascension Parish, according to plant manager Zac Leeth. In a recent interview with Ascension Business Report, Leeth discussed the expansion’s impact, which increased the facility’s annual renewable diesel production capacity from 90 million gallons to 340 million gallons.
