Ridgeland, Mississippi-based YoungWilliams, a company that partners with government entities to operate child support programs, has leased a 30,000-square-foot building at 11777 Industriplex Blvd. for a new call center, according to Ty Gose of NAI/Latter & Blum.
A representative of YoungWilliams was unable to be reached before this morning’s deadline for more information, but the company has posted job listings on Indeed.com and LinkedIn for new Baton Rouge positions, including for a call center implementation manager, a quality manager and trainer.
Catherine Soileau Heitman, director of communications for the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, tells Daily Report the project is still under negotiation and that the department is not at liberty to comment at this time.
With more than 1,000 employees, YoungWilliams touts itself as one of the nation’s largest providers of contact centers and child support program services on its website. The company supports payment processing, local program office operations and employer maintenance services.
Last month, MTP-11777 Insutriplex Boulevard LLC, whose officer is listed as Ferguson Campbell, bought the Industriplex building for $1.55 million from Wells Fargo Bank. Constructed in 1984 and renovated in 2013, the office building was previously leased to engineering firm Ford, Bacon, & Davis LLC, which vacated in April at the end of its 64-month term, according to an online listing. A permit was issued Nov. 20 for $1.1 million worth of renovations to the building for a new business tenant, according to online records.
