TWO SIDES OF MARRIAGE
Where was IBM last year when the debacle occurred with our Metro Council voting down the non-discrimination ordinance (“IBM follows its conscience on the marriage bill,” April 28)? IBM should have noted then that it was moving into a mean-spirited city and state not in tune with their corporate, and very successful, ideology and values. If they stay, we have hope that their leadership will turn the tide of intolerance that permeates in our last at everything state.

Anyone who questions the rapid move to redefine marriage is labeled a bigot or accused of residing in “the sticks.” In a democracy built on liberty and a free exchange of ideas, is there really no room for discussion about redefining a 2000-year-old institution?
