IberiaBank says it will change the name of its Arkansas-based Pulaski Bank and Trust Company next month to IberiaBank fsb. The “fsb” at the end stands for “Federal Savings Bank,” and differentiates it from the separately chartered IberiaBank. Not only will the old Pulaski branches have the IberiaBank fsb name, but the new branches set to open in Houston and Mobile, Ala., also will carry the title. Daryl G. Byrd, president and CEO of IberiaBank, says the name change was driven by the strong brand image of IberiaBank and expansion opportunities. There are no plans to rename any of the IberiaBank branches in Acadiana or Baton Rouge.
