Hub International Limited, an insurance brokerage firm with offices in Baton Rouge and Metairie, has signed an agreement to purchase Strategic Employee Benefit Services of Louisiana. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the purchase is set to close in early August. SEBS is a Metairie-based company that provides benefit consulting. Once the deal is completed, SEBS will be able to offer property and casualty products and expanded risk services to its clients. Kevin Gardner, president and founder of SEBS, says the deal will give the company access to greater financial resources and additional markets.
