Retired Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré is featured in a new social media video series aimed at promoting civil debate regarding gun legislation in the U.S.

The video of Honoré, released this morning on Facebook and YouTube, was created by an offshoot of anti-gun violence group Giffords called Giffords Veterans Coalition, a national network of military veterans.

Called “There Is No Other Side,” the video series features subject who encourage people to think about how we can both defend Second Amendment rights and support common-sense gun violence prevention measures. Along with Honoré—who is featured in the third of a five-part series—Director of the National Security Agency Michael Hayden and retired Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling are also featured in the campaign.

“How many more days do we got to wake up and we see some teenager who has access to a gun go into a school and kill students, or a nightclub or a musical venue?” Honoré says in the video. “We have become desensitized to the killings, and each time we have these mass shootings we get a promise that the government’s going to act and then the lobbyists push back and nothing happens. It’s OK to have reasonable gun control without violating your Second Amendment right.”
