Hammond investor Neal Patel has bought several buildings and office pad sites off Coursey Boulevard, in Market Plaza, for $1.8 million, according to sales documents.

Patel bought the property—five office buildings, one industrial building and seven office pad sites—through Kumar LLC from Coursey Condos LLC. Coursey Condos lists Joel Artenstein as its officer, according to the secretary of state’s website. The deal was filed late last week.

Patel has previously purchased property in the Baton Rouge area. In late 2018, he bought an industrial warehouse near Choctaw and Sherwood Forest drives for $1.2 million. He’s also bought retail property along Airline Highway with two other partners.
