Just over a year ago, this local entrepreneur and classical guitarist was plucked from a national pool to be the executive director of the Acadiana Center for the Arts — Acadiana’s premier arts agency. The German native has toured the globe as an acclaimed guitar soloist, performing in such venues as Carnegie Hall and the Tokyo Performing Arts Center. Over the past year, he successfully rebranded the center and it shows. Programming is attracting national attention, and Wuestemann also secured funding for the $15.4 million construction of a performing arts addition.
