End of the Lane—the high-end liquidation merchandiser located in the former Baby Lane space in Towne Center at Cedar Lodge—will soon close its doors.
That’s according to a recent Facebook post from the retailer that also promoted an “everything must go” sale, with prices marked down on all merchandise, art, furniture and store fixtures.
“We are aiming to be done by this Saturday, Feb. 7,” the Sunday post reads. “Follow us on Facebook and stay tuned for warehouse sales and pop up shops in the future!”
The closeout store is owned by Casey Little, who also owns the adjacent Bumble Lane Spa.
News of the closure comes one-and-a-half years after Little expanded the Baton Rouge day spa’s original Towne Center location from 6,000 square feet to some 10,000 square feet to also include End of the Lane and Pigtails & Crewcuts, as well as larger locker rooms, relaxation spaces and additional spa suites for parties and couple’s packages.
Little could not be reached for comment before this morning’s deadline, but property manager Doris Volentine says End of the Lane is the only one of the three side-by-side tenants closing. It will join Kirkland’s, which plans to vacate Towne Center in March.
Once End of the Lane leaves, Volentine says she will begin marketing the 4,000-square-foot space.
