Regular bus service between LSU and downtown will officially start Aug. 24. The Tiger Trails Transit will make six regular stops downtown: Third Street and North Boulevard, Third and Florida streets, Third and North streets, State Capitol, Shaw Center and Pastime Lounge. The buses will run from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays, making stops every 20 to 30 minutes at the pickup locations. Downtown officials are looking to add special routes, such as night or LSU football game-day shuttles.
