Lynda Butler of Burns & Co. has been honored by the Louisiana Realtors Association for her volunteer service. Butler, a former state president with the Louisiana Realtors, was presented with the Lawrence R. DeMarcay Distinguished Service Award. Butler helped establish the Louisiana Realtors Disaster Relief Fund, which helped distribute $700,000 in financial aid to more than 1,000 agents affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
