‘Business Report’ planner: Martin to speak at Breakfast to Business … Technology road show to stop in B.R. … Coalition to discuss transportation investment

Tuesday — LSU Chancellor Mike Martin will be the guest speaker at LSU’s Breakfast to Business Series, which will be held from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in Café Americain. Registration is $20 for people with connections to LSU, SCORE, the Louisiana Technology Park, Louisiana Business & Technology Center and Center for Emerging Technology; it’s $25 for others. Wednesday — The Louisiana Technology Council’s annual road show will visit Baton Rouge from 5-8 p.m. in the LABI offices. The event is designed to educate and create a greater awareness of the technology initiatives going on and help Louisiana businesses work more closely together. For more information, click here.

Thursday — The CONNECT Coalition will hold a policy forum from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the LSU Lod Cook Alumni Center. Representatives from a number of agencies, including Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the Capital Region Planning Commission, as well as officials from Baton Rouge and New Orleans, will be on hand to talk about transportation investment. Thursday — James Redwine of RACER Trust will discuss the General Motors bankruptcy at a meeting of the Women’s Energy Network–Southeast LA Chapter. The meeting will be held at noon in Juban’s.
