Tuesday — The 14th annual LSU Forum on Health Care Effectiveness will be held starting at 9 a.m. in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The day-long event features Bruce Greenstein, secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals; Christine Bechtel, vice president, National Partnership for Women and Families; and Dr. Stuart Levine, corporate CMO, HealthCare Partners. Friday — Stephen Moret, LED secretary, will kick off the LSU Flores MBA Program’s Distinguished Speaker Series for the spring, with a speech at 9:30 a.m. in the Energy, Coast & Environment Building. Moret earned a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from LSU and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Jan. 31 — A Partners in Education business luncheon will be held at 11:15 a.m. at DJon’s Restaurant. Christy Reeves, executive director of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation, will be the guest speaker. Lunch is $18. To sign up, click here.
