Feb. 23-24: The Southern University Ag Center hosts its two-day “Growing Farm Profits” workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 23 and from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 24. The two-day intensive training is geared toward diversifying horticultural producers by helping farmers make smarter decisions to improve their profits. The training is free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided, and each participant will receive farmer-friendly resource tools.
