Wednesday — The Baton Rouge Bar Association will host its annual Law Expo at the Baton Rouge River Center from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event allows local business owners to meet with lawyers. For more details, click here.

Friday — The American Advertising Federation-Baton Rouge will hold a lunch at Juban’s starting at 11:30 a.m. John and Joanna Haynes of Wish Picture Shows will be the guest speakers and will show clips from their upcoming documentary about LSU football Ole War Skule—Stories of Saturday Night. Admission is free for AAFBR members and $25 for guests.

Sept. 15 — The eighth annual Louisiana Looking Up, sponsored by the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business and the LSU Flores MBA Alumni Association-Louisiana Chapter, will be held from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center. Speakers include David Steiner, CEO of Waste Management; Todd Graves, president and founder of Raising Cane’s; Patrick Mulhearn, director of Raleigh Studios Baton Rouge at the Celtic Media Centre; Matt Saurage, president of Community Coffee; and Peter Stewart, president, CEO and cofounder of TraceSecurity. Sept. 15-16 — The Louisiana Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy will host a Financial Education Summit at Crowne Plaza. The summit will feature researchers, educators and practitioners with expertise in financial education, including Rachel Ramsey Cruze of Dave Ramsey Organization and Bert Davis of Capital One Bank.
