‘Business Report’ planner: ’10/12′ CEO forum set for New Orleans … Expo to show off green technology … Redbox official to speak at entrepreneurship event

Wednesday — The Louisiana CEO Forum, hosted by 10/12 magazine, will be held at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans. The doors will open at 7:30 a.m., and the program will begin at 8 a.m. The line-up includes: Michael Hecht, president/CEO, Greater New Orleans Inc.; Patrick Quinlan, president/CEO, Ochsner Health Systems; Greg Rusovich, CEO, Transoceanic Trading and Development; Jacqui Vines, senior vice president and general manager, Cox Louisiana; and Matt Wisdom, CEO of Turbosquid. Wednesday — The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality will hold its annual Green Business Expo from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at its offices on North Fifth Street. Exhibitors and presenters will display environmentally friendly products and technologies that offer cost saving opportunities. Registration is $60 and must be done online at deq.la.gov/greenbusinessexpo.

Thursday — Louisiana Entrepreneurship Day will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Cotillion Ballroom at the LSU Student Union. Mike DeLazzer, founding member and creative mind behind Redbox, will be the guest speaker. The event is sponsored by Entrepreneurs’ Organization in partnership with the Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute. For more details, click here.

Thursday-Friday — Fęte Rouge, a celebration of Baton Rouge food and wine, will take place at Crowne Plaza. The event, sponsored by the Baton Rouge Epicurean Society, will include wine tasting, a chef’s competition and a silent auction. The event starts with a dinner honoring Chef John Folse, this year’s winner of the Grace “Mama” Marino Lifetime Achievement Award.
