Former Metro Council member Lorri Burgess says she will run again for the District 67 seat in the state House. Some Burgess yard signs have popped up in the district, and she’s going door-to-door to meet with voters. Burgess, a Democrat, ran for the seat when it was open four years ago, but was defeated by Pat Smith in the runoff. Burgess left the Metro Council in 2008 when she was term-limited.
