Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week takes place this week, with organizers planning a packed schedule of speakers, seminars and events over its three-day run.
An Opening Night celebration will take place Tuesday evening at the LSU Emerging Technology Center, with doors opening to the public at 5:30 p.m. Tables are available for startup businesses who want to display their products, demonstrate prototypes or generally promote their business.
Wednesday marks Startup Day, a full day of workshops geared toward covering all the bases for a growing startup. (Space is limited for this day, but interested guests can check the “Are you an entrepreneur?” box and fill out some basic information when buying their tickets for the chance to attend for free).
Thursday’s Entrepreneur Day features a lineup of speakers and panels, including a keynote address by Walk-On’s Bistreaux and Bar co-owner and CEO Brandon Landry.
Closing the week on Friday will be a high-stakes pitch competition, where four finalist companies—Pass It Down, Moxey, Gilded Finance and Block Lawncare—will take the stage to compete for a $100,000 investment.
Tickets are still available for BREW. Learn more on the event website.
