Stephen Hilterbran, vice chancellor of Baton Rouge Community College, has been selected as the president of Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that the school’s board of trustees voted to hire Hilterbran. He starts work July 1 and will be paid $150,000 and receive a $12,000 annual housing allowance. Hilterbran is the second top BRCC official to get a new job out of state in the past month. Myrtle Dorsey, chancellor of the school, announced April 15 she was leaving BRCC to become chancellor of St. Louis Community College.
