You can dance for a good cause on Saturday night at Perkins Rowe, when the annual Dancin’ in the Streets fundraiser for the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre takes place from 7 to 10 p.m.
As Best of 225 This Week reports, the event will take over the Great Hall at Perkins Rowe and include live music from Phat Hat as well as food and drinks from local vendors. There’s also a silent auction.
Funds raised will aid the ballet in its efforts to bring world-class performances to the stage, provide quality dance education and give back to local schools, community centers and libraries.
Tickets are $55 in advance or $65 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling (225) 766-8379.
