About one month after buying the Paula Pennington de la Bretonne’s estate at 11001 Highland Road for $6 million—the highest-priced residential sale in Baton Rouge’s history—Dr. Andre Bruni and his wife, Dr. Jessica Bruni, have purchased the Park Forest Shopping Center.
Under their limited liability company Cobalt Realty, the couple bought the roughly 54,000-square-foot shopping center at 9702 Greenwell Springs Road from J-H-J Inc. for $2,425,000, according to sale documents.
Attempts to reach the Brunis for comment were unsuccessful as of this morning’s deadline. The couple own Bluebonnet Dental Care and Sensible Dental Family Dentistry, which have multiple locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Missouri.
Park Forest Shopping Center was built in 1986 and is currently about 99% occupied, according to a third-party listing.
